A world without mosquitos

You’re sitting in your room and suddenly you become aware of a squealing buzz bothering the corner of your ear. You can’t spot it anywhere, but you know that somewhere in your room, a mosquito is lurking. This villainous insect is right up there with spiders and wasps, and your heart sinks when you realise the sunny weather has also brought back these tiny, elusive vampires.
